IN CONJUNCTION WITH “BACK TO THE PARK”
CRAFT SHOW AND YARD SALE
Entry Fee: $50.00
Saturday, May 1st. 2010 -- 10:00 AM Highland Park
1. First, Second, and Third place trophies will be awarded to winners in each age division.
2. Contestants must perform Country, Southern Rock or Contemporary Rock, or Classic Rock (No Rapping or Head Banging)
3. First place winner in the youth and adult category will be asked to perform again at the Blake Shelton concert on May 22nd.
General rules and guidelines for “King Crawdad Festival” Talent Competitions:
* Check in is 1 hour before each competition.
* There will be a 4 minute time limit.
* Group age category will be determined by age averaging.
* In the event the winner(s) consist of a group, the group and/or band would share the prize on an equal basis, just receiving the one prize.
* Contestants may enter as a member of a band and also as a soloist. (Additional entry fee is required for each entry)
* Original material may be awarded up to 3 bonus points and must have been written by the contestant.
* Unsportsmanlike conduct of contestants, family, or friends will result in disqualification.
* Judges decisions will stand. The rules committee will settle any rules dispute.
* Any contestant that currently has a recording contract with a Music Label is not eligible to compete in competition.
* Please return a separate form for each category.
--EACH CONTESTANT WILL BE HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO BUY ONE DISCOUNTED
TICKET THE DAY OF THE TALENT COMPETITION FOR $25 (REGULAR $50 AT GATE)
