General Rules and Guidelines

Each contestant will receive a tray consisting of 3 lbs of crawfish, 2 potatoes, and 1 bottle water (to use as needed).

Each contestant will receive a bucket for empty tails. 100% of the meat from crawfish tail must be eaten.

Contestants will be placed at assigned table, one judge per table.   Judges will monitor contestants throughout   the competition.

Check in is at 3:30.  You MUST be checked in with apron on by 4:15 to compete.

Unsportsmanlike conduct of contestants, family, or friends will result in disqualification.

All disputes will be resolved by the “King Crawdad Festival” rules committee.

Contestant must be 18 or older.

Contestant must sign liability waiver.

In the case there is a tie the game host will explain sudden death details.

Concert tickets will be required to enter the contest.
